We are looking for Administrative Support III (ASIII) to join our dedicated team at the Lethbridge Opioid Dependency Program. The ASIII is responsible for warmly welcoming, greeting, and registering clients for both programs, serving as a key point of contact for community members and those seeking our services. The role involves managing program referrals and efficiently booking clients for services. It also includes maintaining an orderly system of program files, ensuring their secure short-term and long-term storage. The ASIII is also entrusted with the responsibility of ordering necessary program supplies. Working collaboratively with other team members, the ASIII will liaise with other Addiction and Mental Health programs, other AHS programs, and non-AHS programs. This is to forge connections and provide continuity in the care of our clients. The ASIII, while being supervised by the Assistant Head Nurse, will report directly to the Program Manager. This position requires a working understanding of addiction and mental health programming, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to engage effectively with internal, allied, contracted, and community stakeholders. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Must be able to exercise professionalism, judgment, tact, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. Connect Care is an asset.

Minimum two years of experience working in health care environment is preferred. Advanced computer knowledge in word processing and data management software is preferred (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Connect Care). Training and experience in timekeeping preferred. Experience developing and working on custom workflow tools preferred.
