Recovery Alberta - Mental Health & Addiction Adult Community Services is currently seeking a highly organized, compassionate and positive individual for the role of Administrative Support IV. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of addiction and mental health challenges, exceptional communication skills, work well under pressure, multi-task, comprehensive working knowledge of office programs, a high level of empathy helping to address issues and concerns and be an excellent team player. Working under minimal guidance and direction, this role utilizes enhanced skills to perform varied and specialized activities to support leadership and daily organizational operations. Key responsibilities for this position include direct support to leadership staff and some clinical support to our clients. Operational supports include supporting administrative colleagues to prioritize and problem solve issues related to operational demands, timekeeping, connect care support, financial reporting processes, minute taking, scheduling and coordinating multiple appointments with multiple stakeholders. This role will also require composing, editing and formatting documents and reports to support operations looking at program performance, statistics and financial activities such as: data for accounts payable/receivable, expense claims, and invoicing. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement to schedule staff, process payroll transactions and resolve discrepancies consistent with applicable processes and guidelines. The role will also be supporting organizational change.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Some post-secondary education.

Proficiency in Connect Care, Zoom for virtual meetings and a knowledge and application of E-People, Oracle (iProcurement and iExpenses) eFacilities and Recruitment Management System (RMS) software are also required. Post-Secondary Education (certificate or diploma) in office technology or administrative assistance/management. Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office setting. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Experience in program development. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification. Experience in purchasing for business purposes, specifically using platforms such as Grand & Toy and Amazon.
