Mental Health & Addiction, Adult Community Services is looking for an experienced, skilled, enthusiastic, and dynamic team member to fill a casual Administrative Support III (ASIII) position. Responsibilities include welcoming, greeting, and registering clients of the program in person and over the telephone. The ASIII is responsible for managing program referrals and booking clients for service. The ASIII works collaboratively with other members of the team, other Recovery Alberta programs, AHS programs, and other non-AHS programs to create connections and support the ongoing care of clients. The ASIII is a key point of contact for community members and prospective clients of the service. The ASIII is supervised by the Manager of the program. The ASIII has a working understanding of mental health and addiction programming, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to liaise with other internal, allied, contracted, and community stakeholders. The ASIII works well in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable multi-tasking and demonstrates patience. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Zoom, Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Recent (within the last 2 years) experience with electronic health record utilization and referral management. Must be able to exercise professionalism, judgment, tact, diplomacy, and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. Experience with i-procurement and e-facilities. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions. Takes initiative to make improvements independently. Training and experience with staff scheduling. Experience working with vulnerable populations. Experience using Connect Care.

Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception, and clerical duties preferred.
