Description
As an Administrative Support V you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program. Edmonton Zone Medical Affairs (EZMA) has a wide scope of responsibilities, supporting our medical staff workforce, including recruitment, development and renumeration. This role involves responding to inquiries regarding Medical Staff credentialing, privileging and appointment processes from: physicians interested in obtaining an AHS Medical Staff appointment, existing members of the AHS Medical Staff, Clinical Department and Site Physician Leaders, and others. This involves providing responses to questions regarding current processes and policies, collecting complete data on the issue of concern and following up with solutions.
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Completion of Post Secondary Education -e.g. certificate in Office or Business Administration. Minimum 2 years senior level administrative assistant experience in a fast-paced office setting required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Advance computer skills required in Microsoft office Suite; Database & Visio experience an assetHigh level computer competancy essential. Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook, Access, Visio, MS Office Suite. Must be able to maintain a professional attitude while exercising judgement, tact, diplomacy, and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive confidential issues. Ability to work with frequent interruptions, competently handling changing priorities with tight timelines.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as a contributing member. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, able to anticipate, identify and independently recommend appropriate actions to complex administrative issues.
