Description
Pharmacy Warehouse Management System Superuser The Superuser role runs for the duration of the Pharmacy Connect project and involves acquiring expert knowledge of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related technologies (hereafter referred to as ‘the Solution’); related technologies include ancillary equipment such as handheld devices, the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), Consolidation System (put to light put wall) and Conveyance. Superusers develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and scripts and have a supervisory role in the execution of UAT testing to confirm success. Superusers also serve as trained-trainers, facilitating and providing in-classroom and virtual teaching in the Solution for frontline users.
As a Clinical Informatician, you will lead or participate in the customization, development, implementation, management, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical information systems. You will develop and deploy information and systems solutions, drawing on expert clinical experience, and knowledge from their health discipline. Working in the field of Clinical Health Informatics will require you to incorporate the application of information technology to facilitate the creation and use of health related data, informatics aspects of safe, efficient, and effective health services for all Canadians.
Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field. Active registration with the applicable professional association or college.
Diploma from accredited Pharmacy Technician program or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, or bachelor's degree in health-related discipline or other pertinent discipline (e.g. related to teaching and education), active registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) or professional association/college if applicable. Current registration with the professional college as applicable
Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience required as Lead, Trainer or similar position in Pharmacy such as involvement in the Pharmacy Connect project. Ability to facilitate group discussions and keep the frontline users on task to maintain education. Ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Knowledge of organizational/clinical workflows and practice.
