Description
The EMS CAD & Mobile Technologies group within EMS IT is responsible for ensuring that EMS Dispatch systems efficiently receive emergency (9-1-1) and non-emergency calls for assistance. Using advanced tools such as automated vehicle location (AVL), in-vehicle computers, and a state-of-the-art computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system, the group ensures that the closest and most appropriate EMS resource is dispatched.
