The Team
The Deputy Minister & Associate Deputy Minister’s Office is a highly collaborative and supportive team of professionals, working closely with senior executives, including the Deputy Minister, Associate Deputy Minister, and Assistant Deputy Ministers. The Role
The Manager, Executive Operations is responsible for overseeing the assignment and movement of materials for executive teams, playing a key part in supporting important ministry initiatives and operations. By ensuring the smooth functioning of the ministry, this position directly contributes to better support for British Columbians, particularly in times of emergency. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field, AND
- A minimum of three (3) years related experience*.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience maybe considered.
*Related experience must include three (3) years in each of the following:
- Experience in a senior administrative role working in an executive office.
- Experience developing, managing and providing direction on briefing materials, reports and correspondence.
- Experience developing and implementing administrative processes.
- Experience developing and maintaining good working relationships with senior-level colleagues, technical staff, and partners.
- Experience dealing with highly confidential and sensitive issues.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Experience supervising staff.

- Work flexible hours and be available during emergency activations 24/7 as needed.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work a few days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
