The Program Assistant provides a variety of office administrative, secretarial, and financial support services for the Business Area. If you are a results oriented administrative professional wanting to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment; we look forward to your application.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of administrative/clerical/secretarial experience working in an office setting.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience using computer technology in an office setting, (i.e., MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Internet).
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in accounts payable and purchasing related duties.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Completion of a post-secondary office administration certificate or program.

About this Position:
This position is located in Prince George.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill temporary and permanent vacancies.
