The Program Assistant provides a variety of office administrative, secretarial, and financial support services for the Business Area. If you are a results oriented administrative professional wanting to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment; we look forward to your application.
Job Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year of administrative/clerical/secretarial experience working in an office setting.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience using computer technology in an office setting, (i.e., MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Internet).
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in accounts payable and purchasing related duties.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- Completion of a post-secondary office administration certificate or program.

About this Position:
This position is located in Prince George.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill temporary and permanent vacancies.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
