Your Opportunity

BDO Canada is looking for a highly motivated and capable Alliance Leader to lead, nurture, and expand our strategic alliance relationship with Dayforce. This individual will be a mix of strategist, relationship-builder, and operator while actively contributing to the growth of mutual success between the firm and Dayforce. The key responsibilities of this role focus on the following:

1. Strategic Alliance Planning:

  • Define the strategic direction of our Dayforce alliance, spanning co-sell, enablement, GTM, and operational functions

  • Lead joint business planning processes with Dayforce, along with

  • BDO practice leaders and senior practitioners, to establish mutual goals and KPIs


2. Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Dayforce’s leadership and broader field

  • Regularly engage with Dayforce peers to ensure alignment, resolve challenges, and explore new opportunities

  • Ensure effective co-sell communication and teaming between BDO and Dayforce

3. Business Development:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive co-selling and co-marketing

  • Identify joint GTM strategies and initiatives with Dayforce

  • Monitor and report on alliance-driven and influenced revenue and pipeline


4. Enablement and Training:

  • Ensure BDO team is adequately trained and certified on Dayforce technologies and solutions, and is aware of relevant partner programs

  • Coordinate with Dayforce for regular training, workshops, and updates


5. Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee execution of joint initiatives, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met

  • Regularly review alliance KPIs and adjust strategies as necessary


6. Representation and Advocacy:

  • Represent BDO at Dayforce events, conferences, and meetings

  • Advocate for BDO’s interests in product development, licensing, and other areas of collaboration


7. Market Intelligence:

  • Stay up to date with Dayforce product roadmaps, strategies, and market trends

  • Provide insights to our leadership about shifts in partner strategies or market dynamics

Your goals and success measures

  • You meet and exceed alliance-related KPI targets and development goals

  • You are a trusted advisor to Dayforce, the firm, and clients on all alliance matters

  • You understand Dayforce’s operating model and translate their GTM into practical initiatives

  • You proactively engage directly with the Dayforce team to co-sell and identify opportunities

  • You effectively collaborate with peers and influencers across the firm

  • You embody BDO's core values through all aspects of your work

Your experience and education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field

  • 5+ years in technology alliances, partnership management, or related roles

  • Deep understanding of Dayforce or HCM ecosystem and product offerings

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Strong project and program management skills to manage several initiatives simultaneously

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead without direct authority

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
