Business/Functional Analyst, Back office

This role of a Business/Functional Analyst in operational systems (back-office) involves understanding and documenting processes and needs, as well as translating these needs into technical specifications. The analyst works closely with business teams and technical teams to design and deploy effective IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and accurately document needs and/or issues.
  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications for system configuration and integration.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, integration points, mappings, and procedures.
  • Work with technical personnel and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems, such as ERP, WMS, etc.
  • Identify and resolve system integration issues and defects, ensuring a smooth data flow between systems.
  • Develop training materials and provide training to end-users for effective use of integrated systems.
  • Support the department head by actively participating in the planning and prioritization of initiatives, activities, and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology.
  • 3 to 6 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong skills in business process management and functional documentation.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken (essential).
