Learning & Development Analyst

*12-Month Term Position*

Reporting Relationship: The Learning & Development Analyst will report directly to the Manager, Learning and Development.

Job Summary:

The Learning & Development Analyst drives program efficiency by meticulously managing learning initiatives and optimizing the use of learning technology. They leverage data to optimize outcomes, analyze LMS platform usage, and ensure seamless integration of technology within learning programs. Through insightful data visualization, they transform raw information into actionable strategies, revealing trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance the learner experience through technology.

What you will do:

· Manage the logistical and administrative aspects of learning programs, including scheduling, enrollment, and resource allocation, with a focus on leveraging LMS functionalities.

· Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant data.

· Ensure smooth program delivery by addressing administrative challenges and providing support to learners and facilitators.

· Collect and analyze learning data from various sources, including LMS platforms and participant feedback.

· Utilize advanced Excel skills to compile, manipulate, and interpret data related to learning program effectiveness.

· Develop and generate insightful reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.

· Transform complex data into clear and compelling visualizations using tools like Power BI.

· Create dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with a visual representation of learning program outcomes.

· Communicate data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive program improvements

· Identify opportunities to streamline learning processes and enhance program efficiency.

· Propose and implement improvements to learning workflows and administrative procedures.

· Contribute to the development of best practices for learning program management.

· Ensure learning programs adhere to all relevant compliance standards.

· Administer recruitment, registration, tracking and reporting of all programs and projects.

Qualifications:

• Completed education in a related field (Human Resources, People Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Admin, Organization Development, certificate in Adult Education would be preferred.

• A combination of education and experience would also be considered, in addition, a CPHR designation is considered an asset but not required.

• Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in data analysis and/or instructional design with experience in LMS administration or support preferred.

• Experience with learning analytics tools and techniques.

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation and reporting.

• Data Visualization Tools:

· Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.

· Ability to create dashboards and reports.

· Basic understanding of LMS platforms and their functionalities.

• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accurate records

• Meticulous attention to detail in data entry, reporting, and program administration

• Research or grant writing is an asset

• Motivated individual with proven initiative

• Valid 5F drivers license and own transportation to and from work is required
