Description
The successful applicant will work in compliance with all relevant and applicable legislation and Hospital Policies and Procedures, will practice the Bluewater Health Standards of Performance Excellence and will fulfill their role within the Attendance Support Program parameters. The successful applicant will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Baccalaureate Degree in a health related field or equivalent education with CHIMA certification required
- OHA Management diploma or equivalent preferred
-Minimum of 5 years recent experience in a Decision Support role in a hospital setting required
-Demonstrated skills in day-to-day problem solving (staffing, complaint resolution) preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, SAS, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms like Power BI required
-Intermediate level proficiency using the MS Office Suite of products required
-Recent experience in a Leadership role preferred
-Experience managing projects and meeting timelines preferred
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to inspire teamwork required
Team Leadership of the Decision Support team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence in customer service and continuous improvement
- Data Strategy Development in collaboration with senior leadership to develop and implement an enterprise-wide data and analytics strategy that aligns with organizational goals
- Scorecard Development and Reporting in alignment with organization requirements
- Stakeholder engagement to understand their data and information needs and to facilitate informed decision-making
- Participation in Regional HIS Committees and Teams
- Project Management, leading the design, development and deployment of business intelligence systems and reporting tools, ensuring they meet industry standards and organizational requirements
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to data quality, collection and reporting
- Development and implementation of new policies and procedures
-Coordinate activities required to meet quality standards
- Involved in recruitment, labour management, and employee performance issues as required
-Manage the Employee Development Plans, Attendance Support Programs, etc.
-Participates in department and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives
-Completes continuing education requirements as necessary
-Other related duties as assigned
