Description
The successful applicant will work in compliance with all relevant and applicable legislation and Hospital Policies and Procedures, will practice the Bluewater Health Standards of Performance Excellence and will fulfill their role within the Attendance Support Program parameters. The successful applicant will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Health Care or Business Management Computer Science or Health related discipline required
- Project Management Certification (or in progress) required
- Change Management Certification (e.g. PROSCI) preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
-Demonstrated project management experience in a health care environment required
- 3 --5 years recent experience in a process engineering or business related function (e.g. process improvement, change management, project management, strategy development, organizational design, etc.)
-Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, practices and tools required
- Experience managing and coordinating project teams required
- Demonstrated leadership and experience in facilitation, collaboration and negotiation with multiple stakeholders and service providers required
- Ability to interact with stakeholders from all disciplines with all levels of experience including senior levels of the health system required
- Knowledge of the Ontario healthcare system required
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including the capability to think analytically about clinical processes) relating to data management and the ability to display and communicate to both clinical and administrative audiences required
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills required
- Demonstrated skills in day-to-day problem solving required
- Knowledge and application of lean methodologies required
- Proficiency using the MS Office Suite of products, project management and database applications, and presentation tools required
The Project Manager (PM) reporting to the Director of IT & Systems Integration, will play a critical role in delivering on strategic initiatives and critical operational projects. The PM will work with organizational leaders to define project objectives, scope, etc., conduct research to support project deliverables, develop business cases to support project definition and approval, prepare project charters, and engage appropriate internal and external stakeholders and team members to achieve project objectives. Oversee the change process, and generate status reports to communicate project milestones and success. Oversees project budget if applicable and communicates expenditures and variances to their Director. The PM contributions will lead to enhanced partnerships, services, service delivery, patient satisfaction, new programs and the development of financial efficiencies.
