Design for Service Specialist Off-Road Vehicules

We are looking for a Design for Service specialist off-road vehicules who wants to be on the forefront of BRP’s service experience design team and act as a key link between new product development teams and the global services organization. You will be working closely with multidisciplinary teams to determine the optimal service strategies for the products you are responsible for. You will also have the opportunity to lead the way and support Go-To market strategies in tight collaboration with our technical information team that is shaping the future of technical information and service content at BRP.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Support the NPD service lead in planning, defining, and presenting service and maintenance guidelines for off-road projects.
  • Identify service use cases and failure modes to drive targeted service and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Represent customer experience in engineering design reviews to ensure that serviceability and maintainability remain optimal.
  • Conduct hands-on design for service reviews during different development phases.
  • Identify parts, special tools, and procedures related to product maintenance and repair.
  • Translate network needs to develop, validate, and improve the service and repair procedure.
  • Act as a facilitator with teammates and internal stakeholders.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A technical college diploma in mechanical engineering with experience related to serviceability functions or relevant experience in serviceability and repairability with high interest in powersports, automotive or heavy equipment.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in motorsports.
  • Mechanical skills in the service and repair of powersports vehicles.
  • An enthusiastic team player who is passionate about vehicle repair and customer lifetime value.
  • A demonstrated personal commitment to identifying and responding to customer needs and continually striving to provide the highest quality of service to our customers and business partners.
  • Good adaptability and autonomy in an interactive and evolving environment.
  • Organized, structured, rigorous, and able to set priorities on a regular basis.
  • A strong communicator with collaborative skills to work efficiently in a cross-functional environment.
  • The ability to use software such as Catia V5 or Solidworks with a good understanding of mechanics and 3D visualization would be an asset.
  • Bilingual: French and English.
