Description
Connectivity is a concept that touches on both digital, notably with the creation of mobile applications, and the interweaving of the digital experience with BRP's recreational vehicles and the intelligent use of recorded data. We need to bring new value-added concepts to our customers, dealers and internal teams.
As a UX designer in the connectivity and application development team, and reporting to the team lead for strategy, you will be responsible for the connected experience from the user's perspective, as well as UX research and artefacts related to various projects.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Determine user research needs and conduct comprehensive research activities: develop the plan, participate in recruiting participants, conduct interviews, prepare the report, and synthesize information to guide the design process.
- Produce user research artefacts, such as user journeys and flows.
- Create quick prototypes, conceptual mock-ups, and clickable prototypes in collaboration with team members (PO, strategist, UX/UI designer).
- Develop wireframes, including functional specifications.
- Test concepts with users, gather their feedback, and share the results to enhance the development team.
- Develop the vision of the BRP ecosystem's mobile and connected experience from the customer's point of view and ensure it aligns with our multidisciplinary team.
- Design and lead collaborative workshops to address complex problems or explore strategic opportunities.
- Promote and implement the principles of Design Thinking.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- At least five years of professional experience in the design and development of user interfaces.
- Proficiency in UX with a strong sensitivity towards UI.
- Practical knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Sketch, the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), or other similar design tools.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- A solid technical understanding of digital development, in order to fully comprehend the constraints and standards of various digital platforms.
