Embedded Systems Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer who is passionate about the cybersecurity of embedded systems, reporting to the head of the Vehicle Certification department, the candidate will play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of our cybersecurity management system ( CSMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155.

He will have the opportunity to influence our products and our developments of new technologies at BRP. The ideal candidate must have very strong skills in communication and collaborative work, have proven experience in vehicle cybersecurity and be effective in a rapidly evolving lean environment. Interest in motor sports is a plus.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies for the electrical and electronic (E/E) systems of our motor vehicles.
  • Manage cybersecurity risks throughout the product lifecycle, from design to decommissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with the latest international cybersecurity standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity practices into all phases of product development.
  • Work on a diverse range of power sports vehicles by integrating and validating our cybersecurity solutions.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Degree in computer engineering, cybersecurity or related field
  • Creating synergy between technical security standards (ISO 21434/UN R155, Cyber Resilience Act) and relevant procedures for the development of our products
  • Proven experience in implementing a CSMS Cybersecurity management system ideally at OEM level
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155
  • Comfortable guiding multidisciplinary teams in the execution of cybersecurity strategies from the concept phase through the end of the coverage period and decommissioning
  • Interest in the field of recreational vehicles
  • Able to communicate in English with overseas partners and French for internal collaboration.
