We are looking for a Powertrain Calibration Engineer who will report to the Manager, 4 strokes Calibration, and who’ll be tasked with developing the powertrain calibration of recreational products. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the product development to reach customer expectations. You’ll be at the forefront of bringing a wide range of technical innovations related to engine control.
We are looking for a calibration team leader who will report to the engine calibration department manager. You will be responsible for coordinating calibration activities for recreational products. As part of your role, you will make a significant contribution to product development in order to meet customer expectations. You will be a key leader in supporting the organization of a team of technical experts
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Supervise a team of technical experts in engine development
Participate in the evolution of four-stroke powertrain calibration projects and support our product development activities
Contribute to the achievement of team objectives
Support our experts in their challenges and training
Develop, optimize and apply work procedures
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electric, Mechatronic or Robotic Engineering
Advanced knowledge of how engine and transmission control systems work
Be familiar with general physical, thermodynamic, mechanical, and electrical concepts
Strong interest in human relations
Autonomous person with a strong sense of responsibility, good adaptability, delegation and stress management skills.
Ideally some relevant work experience in powertrain or Mechatronic development
Functional bilingualism in French and English. to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis.
