Description
We are looking for a Vehicle Project Manager for our Can-Am On Road R&D department. Under the engineering director’s supervision, you’ll be responsible for managing vehicle development projects with your team. In this key role, you will have significant impacts on defining the future of Can-Am On Road vehicles. You will lead the development of new vehicles and their continuous improvements for their production and their usage.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Lead the projects development’s activities to define, develop and validate your projects with your team of engineers and technicians.
Define the orientation of future products in collaboration with various teams from design, product strategy, accessories, global sourcing, operations, powerpack, finances, etc.,
Develop products from those orientations thanks to strong knowledge and advanced technologies integrated in our R&D environment
Validate those results, implement them in production and follow them within the hands of our customers,
Present to senior management, manage operating and capitalization budgets, as well as the entire development schedule.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in product development.
French/English bilingualism essential both orally and in writing in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis.
Good knowledge of the operating principles of connected mechatronic and digital products.
Good leadership, organizational and priority management skills.
Creativity and innovation.
