Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A

We are looking for a new professional with a specialization in management reporting to join our finance team. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of financial planning, management reporting and information systems experts in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:   
 

  • Participate in the month-end and financial planning process by consolidating the narratives and preparing presentations for the CFO and executive committees.

  • Participate in the preparation of the MD&A.

  • Conduct analyses on various financial and transactional reports, summarize and present complex information in impactful management reports.

  • Collaborate on optimizing financial planning methodologies and systems.

  • Serve as the reference for management reporting for the CFO and Corporate VP, and propose improvements on the financial management analyses and reports prepared for them.  

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:   
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 5 years of experience. 

  • An inquisitive mind with an excellent ability to make connections and attention to detail.

  • Critical thinking. Interest in the information underlying the numbers.

  • A keen understanding and strong interest in information and financial planning systems. 

  • Experience in an accounting firm and an interest in complex accounting (an asset).

  • Adaptability, independence, and a positive attitude.

  • Strong ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong proficiency with computer tools and in-depth knowledge of Excel (mandatory); familiarity with TM1 or SAP (an asset).
