North America Consumer Engagement Lead, Sea-Doo

As the Consumer Engagement Lead for Sea-Doo in North America, you will be responsible for orchestrating the 360 marketing and consumer engagement plan in collaboration with the contributing centre of excellence supporting the Sea-Doo brand. You will play a critical role in ensuring we grow the Sea-Doo brand in relevant markets, while generating demand for our personal watercrafts and pontoons. The Consumer Engagement Lead will lead 6-12 month go-to-market planning, while also ensuring agile optimization of our plans based on retail and performance lessons.

Reporting to the Manager of Global Brand and Consumer Engagement, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our marketing and digital centres of excellence and North America retail teams to ensure focus and alignment of tactics to business priorities, brand positioning and marketing objectives, while challenging your collaborators to bring disruptive ideas to solve Sea-Doo consumer problems.
 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
 

  • Drive consumer acquisition and retention: Translate business objectives into marketing strategies to boost customer acquisition, reach, and conversion across all customer journey touchpoints.

  • Orchestrate the deployment of brand campaigns: Spearhead the development of campaigns aligned with the brand strategy, positioning and messaging that will connect with consumers at the right place and right time and across various touchpoints.

  • Ongoing consumer engagement optimization: Actively seek and understand retail and performance results, trends and insights to drive adjustment and improvements to consumer engagement efforts across the funnel, delivering a seamless customer shopping journey.

  • Support regional growth plans: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence the use of Co-Op dollars to create one seamless marketing campaign to achieve business results.

  • Manage projects: Help create and manage campaigns and go-to-market plans in a planned and structured manner, defining the scope, responsibilities, timeline, and budget for specific tasks. Tightly control deliverables, costs, and the quality of the execution.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Partner with the Brand Insights and Performance team to leverage audience, market, and media data for more effective strategy development.


YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
 

  • 5-7 years of experience in developing and executing 360 marketing plans in the consumer space.

  • A consistent record of leading and influencing cross-functional teams to build impactful plans, unlock bold ideas, and achieve strong results across owned, earned and paid channels.

  • Comfortable operating in the grey, acting as a mobilizing leader to influence internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Bilingual communication: strong communication skills in English and French, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present performance insights to executive audiences.

  • Campaign and budget management: proven experience managing large-scale 360 campaigns with significant budgets, while being open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset: self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail: meticulous and committed to excellence in execution.

  • Collaborative team player: the ability to work effectively across multiple partners, stakeholders, and time zones.

  • Passion for the outdoors: a genuine enthusiasm for both winter and summer activities on the water!
