Description
We are looking for a Global Parts Services Purchasing Coordinator who will report to the Global Parts Services Purchasing Team Leader. You will play a crucial role in the sourcing strategy, logistics and inventory levels of parts dedicated to resale within our Global Dealer network. As part of your role, you must be comfortable with numbers, analysis and will continually seek to improve your work methods and make your work efficient to bring added value to BRP.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Establish and maintain an optimal supply plan for the items under your responsibility;
Manage relationships with our supplier network, issue and manage purchase orders while ensuring that agreements and various supply parameters are respected;
Manage inventory levels in order to achieve customer availability objectives while ensuring optimal inventory turnover;
Participate in long-term agreements in addition to negotiating with suppliers the prices and terms relating to your product portfolio;
Resolve supply issues and prioritize backorders (BO);
Work closely with the demand planning, development, and quality assurance teams to identify and communicate risks related to the supply plan (such as capacity constraints)
Rigorously maintain information and parameters in our systems in order to provide reliable data and analyses;
Produce analyses related to the procurement plan for the parts portfolio under your responsibility
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in procurement management, business administration or any related field
Minimum 3+/- years of experience in the procurement field
Strong in Excel and the office suite, SAP S4 is a definite asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a deadline-driven atmosphere
Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points in presentation slides
Fluent in French and English both orally and in writing
This position will be based in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Hybrid work arrangements also available (50% of the time in person required).
