Description
As a member of the Engineering team and reporting to the Project Manager, the Sea-Doo R&D Mechatronics Integrator's main mandate is to lead the design, development and validation of systems for a recreational vehicle product line.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Coordinate the development of new vehicle functions for the various vehicle control modules;
- Perform physical validation of vehicles to confirm technical solutions, taking into account established norms and standards, as well as test plans;
- Collaborate with design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams;
- Develop technical requirements, electrical diagrams and electrical systems engineering specifications;
- Guide the work of technicians/designers to meet development objectives;
- Resolve production and networking issues and follow up with suppliers.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering or equivalent;
- Good understanding and ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software and mechanical principles;
- Initiative, autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Fluency in French;
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and to innovate;
- Experience with Catia/SmarTeam, CRETA and INCA software (an asset);
- Manual and motor dexterity to perform electrical repairs and physical tests on water;
- Available to travel occasionally.
