THE ROLEThe Cloud Administrator manages and maintains our Microsoft Office 365 environment with an emphasis on security, collaboration, and operational efficiency. They administer core Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and OneDrive while implementing best practices for security and compliance. They develop migration strategies from on-premises environments to cloud services, configure collaboration tools to optimize business processes, and provide technical support across the organization. Additionally, they monitor service health, create comprehensive documentation, and train end-users to ensure maximum productivity and adoption of Office 365 features.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Azure Cloud Certification, an asset
Experience
Administer and maintain our Office 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune and OneDrive
Manage user accounts, licenses, and security groups through Microsoft 365 Admin Center
Configure and maintain security and compliance features, including data loss prevention policies and information governance
Implement and manage email security, anti-spam, and anti-malware solutions
Design and implement SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, and workflows to streamline business processes
Configure and manage Microsoft Teams for effective collaboration, including teams creation, policies, and governance
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Office 365 services and applications
Develop and implement migration strategies for on-premises workloads to Office 365
Create and maintain documentation for Office 365 services, processes, and procedures
Monitor Office 365 service health and address potential issues proactively
Train end-users on Office 365 features and best practices
Understanding of identity management, including Azure AD Connect and SSO implementation
Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and mobile device management
Excellent communication and end-user support capabilities

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
The selection process will be done virtually.
You may be eligible to receive a Scarce Skills Premium for this position as outlined in the attached IT Scarce Skills Compensation Agreement.
This temporary employment is expected to end on 21 April 2027.
