THE ROLE

As a Research Assistant - Occupational Fitness, you will coordinate and participate in data collection activities and analysis of results for research projects pertaining to components health and fitness. You will organize reference materials, conduct literature reviews, surveys for use in reports and research publications.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Master's degree in Human Kinetics, Health Sciences, or related field AND some years of experience in a related field

Current Certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP) certification, an asset

Experience

In data collection and compilation of research data

In researching and developing health/fitness requirements

In conducting advanced literature searches

In applying policies, procedures, and regulations

In coordinating projects

In using advanced statistical software programs

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Bilingual Essential

Reading: Functional

Writing: Functional
