THE ROLEJoin our dynamic team as a Sports Stores Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our sports store runs smoothly and efficiently. Under the guidance of the Sports Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for organizing store activities and maintaining meticulous records.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also test, adjust, and repair equipment, ensuring everything is in top-notch condition. Safety is a priority, so you will inspect equipment and facilities, taking corrective actions when necessary. You will be the go-to person for issuing and receiving sports equipment, maintaining inventory, and reporting any irregularities.
Moreover, you will have the exciting opportunity to assist with special events, making sure everything runs seamlessly. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about sports, this role is perfect for you!
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in a related field
AND
Valid Driver’s License (Ontario)
Valid DND 404 Military Licence, an asset
Valid Forklift Operators certification, an asset
Experience
In issuing sports equipment
In the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities
In equipment maintenance/scheduling
In loss prevention
In inventory control
In record keeping/invoicing

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
