Environment Regulatory Student

• Term length: 4 months
• Term start: May 2025
• Job location: Calgary, AB - Head Office
• Shift schedule: 5 x 2 - 8 hours (Monday - Friday)

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist regulatory and environmental coordinators in the preparation of regulatory submissions for amendments, authorizations, notifications for assets.
• Support in data compilation, statistical analysis for annual/quarterly reports, or applications
• Help with the preparation of reports and documentation to regulatory agencies to fulfill Indigenous consultation and engagement requirements for regulatory applications.  
• Assist operations, regulatory/environmental staff in managing project commitments for specific assets.
• Support tracking of approval conditions to ensure on-going regulatory compliance utilizing a software solution.
• Assist with the monitoring of regulatory publications and review of project decisions (e.g. approvals and court decisions) on a regular basis to keep department apprised of new requirements and changes to applicable regulatory requirements.

 What You Bring to The Role:

• Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a recognized Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related program
• Attention to detail, organized, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
