- Job location: Calgary, AB or Oil Sands Site (Horizon or Albian site), Fort McMurray, AB
- Shift schedule: Various

Key Accountabilities:
- Support mine and tailings operations through performance monitoring, design work, analyzing trends, optimizing production efficiencies
- Design work may include haul roads, earth structures, tailings storage structures and pit walls
- Assist in the budget process by collaboratively providing inputs to develop the annual mine operations budget
- Assist in different planning scenarios and design work to determine best economic path forward
- Detailed scheduling to support Mine, tailings and project execution plans
What You Bring to The Role:
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor Degree program in Mining/Mineral Engineering is preferred, Civil or Geological Engineering is also acceptable
- A class 5 driver’s license and a relatively clean driver’s abstract is required for this position. Ability to drive in the mine with no known restrictions
- A pre-employment drug screening test must be successfully completed
- Required to be physically and mentally fit for work
- Previous engineering or field experience is considered an asset
