The opportunity

The CWB Small Business Banking Portfolio is a vital part of CWB's mission to become an exciting force in Canadian banking and the best full-service bank for business owners. Working alongside other Small Business Banking Advisors, the position delivers expert advice on CWB product and services including loans, deposits and cash management products. What you’ll be doing

As a Business Banking Advisor at CWB, you will have the unique opportunity to provide outstanding service and experienced advice on CWB business banking and cash management solutions. You will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and leaving them with a magnificent impression of CWB. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service by offering experienced advice on CWB business banking and cash management solutions

  • Leading and growing a portfolio of new business clients (up to $5M) that are onboarded through CWB's Business Contact Centre

  • Proactively asking clients additional questions to better understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

  • Assisting in the administration, tracking, and reporting of sales activities, marketing campaigns, and local market initiatives using our CRM Reporting tool

Who we’re looking for & what you’ve done
  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate with strong supporting professional experience

  • A passion for continuous growth and learning

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of banking experience, experience in small business banking and cash management would be considered an asset.

  • Resilience and adaptability to embrace change and improve processes and efficiencies

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a geographically diverse client base in a contact centre environment

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, demonstrated through email and telephone interactions

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively and efficiently handle large volumes of work

  • Shown ability to prioritize tasks and meet targets while encouraging meaningful relationships with team members and partners
