SAP Functional Lead - Device Management

Job description:

The Functional Lead for Device Management/Energy Data Management is responsible for SAP IS-U DM/EDM module implementation and support, ensuring the smooth functioning of device management systems in electric utilities

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the deployment of the SAP IS-U Device Management/Energy Device Management module, with 2-3 full life cycle implementations.
  • Prepare functional specification documents, business design documents, and test cases.
  • Solution design, configuration, and testing for device management, including meter shop (inventory, testing, inspections), routes, consumption reads, and integration to billing and backend work management systems.
  • Extensive experience in technical master data models and DM/EDM configuration.
  • Experience in EDM settlement processes
  • Lead integrated and parallel testing for batch job processing and exception management.
  • Design and configure BI reports for device management processes.
  • Knowledge of integration with Meter Data Management (MDM), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and Head End systems/networks is preferred
Required Skills
  • 5-7 years of experience in SAP IS-U Device Management, with a minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role.
  • SAP certification preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Implementation
  • Ability to work across Agile development, support, and deployment landscapes.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently
