Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Engagement Manager with software project management experience, including Salesforce implementations, to lead and deliver large-scale Salesforce Sales Cloud and digital transformation projects within the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce, proven Agile and Scrum expertise, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage client relationships, project timelines, resources, and risks effectively. While experience with CPQ and Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) is optional, experience in Salesforce is mandatory.

Location: Regina / Saskatoon

Key responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead the delivery of large-scale Salesforce Sales Cloud and digital transformation projects within the telecommunications sector, managing timelines, resources, budgets, and risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with client executives, understanding their business needs, and translating them into effective project strategies.
  • Agile Methodology: Oversee and guide the adoption of Agile practices within the project, ensuring that teams are adhering to Agile principles and delivering value incrementally.
  • Scrum Master Responsibilities: Act as a Scrum Master when needed, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the team remains focused on sprint goals.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and alignment with project objectives.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with technical architects and consultants to ensure that solutions meet client requirements and are scalable, secure, and sustainable.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards, conducting regular reviews and implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring they are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.- Salesforce Vlocity (Desirable): Leverage any experience with Salesforce Vlocity to enhance project delivery within the telecommunications industry.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software project management, with at least 5 years specifically in Salesforce implementations (experience within the telecommunications sector is desirable).
  • Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, including hands-on experience with configuration, customization, and integration. Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) and CPQ is a strong advantage but optional.
  • Agile & Scrum Mastery: Proven experience with Agile methodologies and acting as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement within teams.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire project teams, with a focus on delivering exceptional client value.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certifications, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMP, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
