About this opportunity:
Reporting to Manager, SAP Applications this Senior ERP Advisor MM role involves supporting, optimizing, and enhancing SAP MM functionalities within the SAP ERP system and the ecosystem. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical expertise to ensure seamless finance operations and deliver business value through continuous system improvements.
What you’ll do:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of an SAP ERP, specific to MM (Materials Management) module, with the integration with other modules for example PM, FICO and technical modules
Provide subject matter expertise under MM, procurement, inventory management, and have the integration knowledge with connected applications
Consult and support during the delivery of changes to SAP MM in collaboration with other operational groups
Assist in demand shaping and solution selection processes; as well as in the design, deployment and configuration of proof of concept and prototype application services
Ensure relevant performance management activities, such as measurement of Service Level Agreement (SLA), are performed
Coach and support our service provider in resolution of major incidents; during patching, maintenance, upgrades and other related activities associated with operating an application
Support release management and operational readiness; identify and communicate operational risks and the Security, Compliance & Accreditation processes
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada
8+ years experience working as a SAP ERP consultant, with a focus on the MM module, Oil and Gas industry experience is preferred
Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and implementing SAP MM solutions (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, LIS, Logistics and MRP), including integration with other SAP modules
Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes. Familiarity with ERP system integration with other systems, such as Ariba, Fieldglass, OpenInvoice and Track
Experience with SAP ECC and S/4 HANA implementation, specifically to the Supply Chain area
A proven track record of successful program management in complex, multi-function programs. Must have led large, cross-division functional teams or projects that had a long term effect on the organization
Successful track record of working with both business and technical teams to achieve business goals and meet requirements
