Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO, www.youthhubs.ca) is a network of 27, Integrated Youth Services (IYS) hubs where young people ages 12 to 25 years have walk-in access to youth-centered, community based mental health and wellness services informed by youth, family members and service providers. The hubs are provincially-consistent in core features and locally led and adapted to offer and connect to a range of evidence-based services - mental health care, substance use, primary care, education, employment, housing, peer support, family support and care navigation - in youth-friendly spaces. Outcomes are rigorously evaluated within and across hubs focusing on positive outcomes in areas of wellness important to youth and their families. This initiative engages youth, family members and other stakeholders through a co-creation process, ensuring services are designed and delivered according to their needs.

Position Description:

The YWHO Provincial Office (PO) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Analytics & Evaluation Lead for a full-time, permanent position. This role will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of care provided to young people across Ontario. Reporting directly to the Manager of Evaluation, the Analytics & Evaluation Lead will collaborate closely with the evaluation and research team at YWHO to harness the power of data in fostering a learning health system across the YWHO Network. By leveraging data-driven insights, this role will support YWHO in promoting equity, advancing research, and enhancing education within the youth mental health and integrated youth services landscape.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing analytical approaches that are unique and specific to youth populations. In addition, they will review and analyze clinical outcome data, service utilization data, and qualitative data. The Analytics & Evaluation Lead will play a key data integration role, conducting analyses of secondary and original data, and contributing to the conceptual design and planning of evaluation plans. They will contribute to the coordination of work with partners, the development of data analysis plans, the analysis of data, and the integration of data at multiple levels. Additionally, they will lead complex analyses in response to requests from the YWHO PO or the YWHO Hub networks. They will also perform detailed analysis of research data and research methodologies performing quantitative (both descriptive and multivariate) analysis. They will have an active interest in mental health and have worked with health care data, including assessment and clinical data. This work will involve collaborating with partners, including youth and clinicians.
