The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a full-time permanent Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator to support the Quality and Patient Safety team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality and Patient Safety, this position will support the operations of the Quality and Patient Safety department, including connecting with clinicians and staff to review incident, preparing reports for leadership and supporting the work of the Quality and Patient Safety Specialists.
The QPS coordinator will also support the work of the Quality of Care Committee, the Quality Excellence Committee and the Working Groups, including the preparation of agendas, meeting minutes and follow-up with clinical teams. The QPS Coordinator is the front line support for the QPS team and will be accountable for the triaging of incident reports and the front end management of the office (opening and closing files and preparing cases for broader dissemination). This position is located at 1001 Queen Street West.
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree and 1-2 years of recent relevant experience (i.e. in quality/patient safety/health care environment and/or front end office management/customer experience). Experience in the healthcare industry is an asset. Quality and/or Patient Safety training an asset. Experience working in mental health and addiction field an asset. The successful candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and possess excellent organizational and time management skills. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language is an asset.
