Senior Mobile App Developer

Hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street), subject to change.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a passion for mobile technology and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative mobile applications.

• Develop and implement mobile applications that align with our business objectives.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust mobile solutions with clean, modular architecture.
• Perform thorough unit testing and facilitate the delivery of high-quality artefacts and documentation.
• Evaluate the impact of design decisions on app performance, schedule, budget, and overall quality, offering creative solutions for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, operations, and vendors, to define development requirements and timelines.
• Construct scalable and maintainable mobile solutions that contribute to our goal of shared assets.
• Innovate and automate processes to enhance technological integration and operational efficiency.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends in mobile technology through continuous learning and professional development.

• 6-10 years of experience in mobile development, with proficiency in:
• Swift for iOS Development
• Ionic Framework and Angular
• React Native or Native Script
• Android platform development
• Experience with mobile app deployment and management in both iOS and Android ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies, capable of managing and adapting to multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• A collaborative team player focused on collective success.
• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with REST API and SOAP Services.
• Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
• Certifications in mobile development platforms or frameworks are a plus.
