Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Administration of Windows servers
- Follow up and control the performance and status of a specific IT element (server, network, storage, security, messaging, database, etc.);
- Create, suspend and delete security accounts on the servers;
- Oversee routine tests and analyses of a specific IT element;
- Manage disk space;
- Apply security correctives as needed;
- Use software tools and material to diagnose and solve issues/outages;
- Resolve problems in compliance with the established procedures;
- Use standard tools and procedures to carry out the established service deliveries and maintenance tasks;
- Carry out server activities that can be planned (installations, updates, etc.);
- Coordinate the delivery of services in cooperation with other level-two service groups (security, telecommunications, Virtualization, DBA), level-three technical specialists and external suppliers;
- Respond to clients' requests based on contractual conditions;
- Manage client communication;
- Follow Chorus ITIL processes for managing incidents, questions and requests for changes;
- Ensure the development and update of procedures and documentation;
- Implement solutions, modifications and installations, and perform maintenance;
- Prepare reports for clients based on their needs;
- Perform any other tasks as requested by the manager.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Excellent organizational skills;
- Leadership;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Self-reliance, creativity and proactivity;
- Customer-service oriented;
- Bilingual: excellent fluency in English and French, spoken and written;
- You will be required to get a pager or cellular phone and provide 24/7 on-call support in rotation with other team members.
- IT training and three to five years of relevant experience;
- ITIL certification, an asset.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
