The private seniors' residence, Le Domain Lafontaine, is seeking a part-time day/evening beneficiary attendant (PAB) position. ***Candidates must hold a vocational diploma (DVS) in beneficiary attendant (APRPA) or a current RAC certificate + 16-hour CPR + completed PDSP***
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: Full-time evening or night shift to be discussed Salary: $18.95/hour or more depending on experience + bonus
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Answering call bells
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
