Caregiver

The Rosemont Les Quartiers residence is located in a safe neighborhood in Montreal. The residences are located very close to the Préfontaine and D'Iberville metro stations.

We are currently looking for Caregivers who will contribute to the quality of life of residents. Caregivers ensure the comfort, well-being, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care. We have several full-time and part-time positions available.

Schedule: Part-time, night.

• Answer ringtones
• Assist and accompany residents in their travels
• Collaborate in maintaining the bond of trust with the families or loved ones of the residents as well as with the various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
• Ensure the accompaniment of residents to activities, the dining room and appointments at the home
• Notify the nurse and/or the person in charge of health services of any changes observed in the state of health of the residents
• Respond to all emergency situations

• Assist the nursing staff in tasks that require no hands-on care of the resident
• In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .

• 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
• Good communication
• Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
• Discretion and respect for confidentiality
• Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
• PDSB training
• Law 90 training
