POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The welcoming Les Jardins du Couvent residence is currently looking for a Night Caregiver. Located in Marieville, where countryside and city amenities unite, we welcome approximately one hundred independent and semi-independent residents. Join our team now as a Caregiver.

30 minutes from Montreal via Highway 10 E. 35 minutes from Granby via Highway 10 W.
Permanent, full-time position, 7/15, 56 hours every two weeks, daytime from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics
- Answering call bells
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Delivering messages to the nursing staff
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- PDSB training
- APRPA training
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
