POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The welcoming Villa Rive-Sud residence is currently looking for a Maintenance Director to fill a full-time daytime position. The Maintenance Director is responsible for coordinating the activities of the housekeeping attendants, managing requisitions and ensuring the guarding of the buildings at all times. He/she performs various tasks related to the maintenance of the building and the management of maintenance and renovation projects.
Daytime schedule, 40 hours per week and weekends as needed (emergency calls)
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain property areas and systems
- Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
- All other related tasks
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Show apartments to prospective tenants and collect the rents of existing tenants
- Supervise the maintenance of the equipment
- High school diploma (SSD)
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
