POSITION DESCRIPTION:
A warm private residence for seniors in the southwest of the island of Montreal has a cook opportunity to fill for a permanent full-time position, minimum 32 hours.
You are creative and passionate, wanting to offer an exceptional culinary experience to residents! Comfortable hours that will allow you to enjoy a social life and a dedicated team await you. One weekend out of two worked.
Salary: $21.25 to $23.54/h.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate in preparing menus by suggesting ideas
- Ensure that the kitchen and equipment are kept clean in accordance with hygiene and sanitation standards
- Ensure that the use of foodstuffs is optimized in compliance with quality standards
- Participate in the assembly of the plates
- Peel and cut vegetables for meals
- Perform any other related tasks
- See to the preparation of cold dishes and desserts
- MAPAQ training certification
- Professional studies diploma (DEP) in institutional cooking or equivalent (an asset)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in catering
