POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Clair Matin residence, by Cogir Immobilier, is looking for a colleague to join its dedicated team as a building maintenance attendant.
TEMPORARY position (sick leave replacement for an indefinite period) full-time, 32 hours per week, daytime from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., work days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and weekends as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Maintenance and cleaning of indoor and outdoor parking lots
- Make service calls
- Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- Remove snow and ice on sidewalks
- Taking out the trash
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
