POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The welcoming Le Verger residence is currently seeking a reliable, professional, and motivated maintenance attendant (minor repairs).
TEMPORARY position (sick leave replacement), full-time, 37.5 hours per week, daytime from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Change light bulbs in the common areas
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
