POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Maintenance Director is responsible for coordinating the activities of the housekeeping attendants, managing requisitions, and ensuring the buildings are kept safe at all times. They perform various tasks related to building maintenance and managing maintenance and renovation projects.
Daytime schedule, 40 hours per week and weekends as needed (emergency calls)
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain property areas and systems
- Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
- All other related tasks
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Show apartments to prospective tenants and collect the rents of existing tenants
- Supervise the maintenance of the equipment
- High school diploma (SSD)
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
