Le Jazz Lévis, a private residence for seniors located in Old Lévis, is looking for someone to fill a part-time auxiliary nurse position during the day. No overtime. Healthy work environment and friendly managers :)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: 3 days a week including one weekend out of 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and the other week Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday)
Salary: starting at $22.10 per hour
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents' family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Ease in the use of computer tools
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
