Les Jardins Logidor, a friendly private seniors' residence located in Ste-Foy, is seeking several people to fill part-time evening and night patient attendant positions. ***Candidates must have a vocational diploma (DVS) in patient attendant (APRPA) or a current RAC certificate + 16-hour CPR + completed PDSP ***
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule A: 2 x 4/14 evening shifts Schedule B: 2 x 4/14 night shifts
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Formation of PDSB
- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
