The private seniors' residence Le St-Augustin is currently seeking a part-time weekend night attendant (Loi 90) position. ** Completed AP/RPA training or completed DEP (Degree of Professional Development) in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home**
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: 4/14 nights on weekends
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
- PDSP training
- AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
- Law 90 Training
