What will be your role:

Assume the responsibility to promote manufacturing parts, repairs, and other services from DBS.

The Sales Manager provides the customer service to clients onsite and follow up within his covered territory.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Continually research the market and target the top 10 customers within your region.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunity in the overall solution offering (New parts, repairs and field service)
  • Build a business plan to secure their business and execute the plan.
  • Generate new sales leads and convert to profitable orders.
  • Grow the business within your region as per targets set by the company budget.
  • Deliver individual sales budget on:
- Enquiries and visits
- Bids
- Bookings
- Product margins
  • Identify and develop new routes to market and gaps in product offerings.
  • Visit new potential customers and generate enquiries.
  • Establish good relationships at all levels within customer companies to ensure DBS receive all invitations to bid where we have a product offering.
  • Manage customer opportunities from initial contact though bid management (including proposal creation) and finally negotiation leading to contract award.
  • Act as the customer’s representative within the company.
  • Follow up on orders so that customers receive them on time and solve encountered problems.
  • Resolve any customer issues by working with the Internal Management Team and ensure long term improvements are put in place
  • Report sales activity and results to management on a weekly basis.
  • Update clients and sales information in SAP Cloud.
  • Work closely with the existing sales personnel and the GM to coordinate and manage your wider region.
  • Assist the Engineering division with field test and trials and with comment and suggestions.
  • Project manage tour orders in conjunction with the Production Manager.
  • Ensure after-sales follow-up.
  • Complete and close projects along with monitoring customer satisfaction.
  • Perform any additional duties as required to support the sales function.
