- With extensive experience advising on some of the world's largest and most complex infrastructure and real estate projects, we provide clients with top-tier advice on current challenges and foresight for future ones.
- Optimizing returns and outcomes throughout the lifecycle of real estate assets requires a highly skilled and experienced team. Our I&RE team offers comprehensive services for investors, government agencies, developers, and operators in both the public and private sectors.
- Our team collaborates with strategic and financial investors on real estate and infrastructure transactions, supports all levels of the Canadian public sector with infrastructure delivery including business case development and procurement, and works with International Development Organizations (e.g., World Bank Group) and international governments on infrastructure delivery and capacity building.
- Our work spans various asset classes, with a strong emphasis on Real Estate including Commercial, Residential, and Mixed-Use Developments, as well as Social Infrastructure (Education, Healthcare, Government Facilities, etc.). We specialize in public sector real estate projects, optimizing government-owned properties and facilitating urban renewal initiatives. Additionally, we engage in projects related to Environmental Sustainability (Green Buildings, Energy Efficiency, etc.) and Urban Development (Smart Cities, Transit-Oriented Developments, etc.).
Deloitte's Infrastructure & Real Estate (I&RE) group provides comprehensive advisory services in Portfolio Optimization, Development Advisory, and Digital Real Estate Services.
In Portfolio Optimization, the group focuses on strategic planning to optimize corporate real estate assets, including location strategy, lease analysis, and feasibility studies, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce costs. They also address accommodation needs and occupancy optimization to align portfolio requirements with organizational goals.
In Development Advisory, the team assists with asset investments and development projects, offering market intelligence, feasibility studies, public sector land development support, and business case analysis. They guide real estate asset strategy and development, ensuring successful project execution and optimization.
In Digital Real Estate Services, the group leverages technology to enhance real estate operations and workplace modernization. This includes implementing smart building solutions, digital asset management, and technology-driven workspace optimization to create efficient, future-ready environments.
Overall, the I&RE group combines strategic planning, development expertise, and digital innovation to optimize real estate assets and modernize workplaces for private and public sector clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in lease administration, property management, and asset lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of smart building technologies and digital innovations in real estate.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, capital planning, and portfolio management software.
- Familiarity with PropTech solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to adapt to technological advancements and leverage digital tools effectively.
- Leadership and strategic planning capabilities to optimize real estate portfolios and operations
The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $144,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
