The Advisor, Capacity Utilization position supports critical activities that include strategic decision-making, executive-level reporting, asset optimization, revenue generation, risk management, and regulatory applications.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the continuous monitoring and reporting of key S&T business performance metrics.

  • Analyze critical business data, including customer demand, storage inventory positions, utility gas supply, operational activity, weather forecasts, and the value of various S&T services.

  • Support strategic business decisions, encompassing S&T optimization activities, operational planning, utility gas supply planning, annual S&T revenue forecasting, and financial processes.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of related regulated and unregulated services.

  • Assist in developing rate setting, deferral, and variance account disposition evidence for filing with the Ontario Energy Board.

  • Communicate effectively and collaborate across the organization.

  • Lead various cross-functional projects and initiatives related to S&T or UFG.

Who You Are:

  • Possess a related University degree with 4+ years of experience.

  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Capable of working independently and within a team environment.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated financial acumen.

  • Able to quickly learn and adapt to information technology systems.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the natural gas industry.

  • Knowledge of natural gas market dynamics.

  • Experience with PowerBI.
